★ about this release:
These four tracks were made by cutting out compelling parts from jam sessions that took place in Tjusbol, 2013. The title Mount Meru alludes to a symbolic mountain found in the Buddhist cosmology that is considering to be the center of all the physical, metaphysical, and spiritual universes.

★ about Kris:
Swedish producer and DJ Kris Dubinsky (Kristoffer Jonsson) has been making atmospheric dub music since his first discovery of tracker programs and analogue synths in 2004. For a long time just making music for himself and close friends, he has during the last years released music on various digital labels such as Spaceal Orbeats Records, Drift Deeper recordings and now Spiel:Field. He has also started to DJ the music he loves at small forest parties, and most recent did a 4 h sunrise-set with Nobody Home at Secret Island Nation this summer. Besides working on his own music and mixes, he is currently collaborating with Warmth and Nobody Home. A vinyl released on Nobody Homes (aka Minilogue) new label Home is also planed for 2016.

A researcher in psychology (flotation tanks & altered states of consciousness) at Karlstad University Kris spends most of his spare time making music from synths, field recordings and his computer. His greatest musical influences are from artists such as Deepchord, Biosphere, Minilogue, and anything transmitting authentic and deep emotions. Kris strongly believes that music can be a powerful tool to bring back some magic to our current materialistic oriented world. He currently resides in the northern part of Sweden with his girlfriend and 1 year old daughter.
